Partnering with the Kuumba Quilting Guild of Richmond and Henrico County Public Schools to share some history about quilting and teach students how to hand sew patchwork quilts.

    Highlighting amazing community leaders whose work aligns with our mission.  Proceeds from this event supported Rising Toward Success' community initiative to share the experience of the Virginia Safari with inner city kids.

    Supporting A Servants Heart Ministry: Donating, Volunteering, Serving  


    Quilting Session - Education

    Artisans for Action RVA in partnership with the Kuumba Quilting Guild of Richmond share the history of quilting and instruct students on how to make a patchwork quilt.

    Creation Care - Economics

    Creation Care at work through tree/shrub giveaways, tree planting, establishing a community garden, offering educational workshops and developing community partnerships.  A special thanks to Mosby Memorial Baptist Church, Virginia Interfaith Power and Light, the Chesapeake Bay foundation, an Virginia State Department of Agriculture for allowing us to be a part if this endeavor.
